Everything LOOKS pretty nice. I don't know what valves they are using or what compressor though. They don't mention it but the bags and struts look nice. They mounts look pretty pimp too.

1/4" line would be gawd-awful slow.

I am sure if you install it yourself, you can get bigger lines if you want. I went ahead and ordered a catalog yesterday...so since they ship the catalog from japan, and i am out here in japan, i should get it really really fast. Ill let everyone know what the catalog says..

Yeah there are dealers in the states. I wouldnt buy them out here neways. I would go to Los Angeles to buy them cause i doubt my city would have them. But i will try and get some photos up when i get the catalog. Hopefully the catalog isnt in japanese haha

Does anyone else have any input on this system?
I didnt get the catalog by the time i left work, but hopefully it came in after i left work, If not i guess i will have to wait another 2 days.. I really am interested in the system because i dont quite want to go to an airbag system, so i figure a system like this is ideal cause it combines the best of both worlds. Well if anyone has any input on it or any better suggestions for a setup lemme know.. I am open to new ideas.
Thanks

Um, you do realize that this set-up IS bags, right?? Strutbags are stll bags Difference between air cylinders (ie EasyStreet) and strutbags is what holds the air. Bags are lower maintenance than cylinders, and give a better ride And w/ strutbags rather than normal bags, you don't have to do crazy mods to the car to fit bags - like I'm doin' Oh yes Can't give my ideas out tho, people keep stealin' them and doin' it b4 me haha

^^ FYI EasyStreet does not make cylinders. EasyStreet's products are air bags & strut bags.

nope easystreet is bags!! not sure who makes the cylinders though????

Re: Air runner

AIM makes those junk ass cylinders I believe.

Re: Air runner

I prefer cylinders in the rear for one reason: easy dog-legs.
They are high maintenance though. And the AIM Fronts are known to break (in half) easily.

Re: Air runner

^ That's what I keep hearin' about AIM, lol. I saw a kit on E-Bay a couple weeks ago, looked like absolute crap. I posted the link in a Mid-Central thread, and one guy told me it was the AIM kit, I just laughin' lmao. It was a F/B kit w/ I think 1/4" line ahhah

I hear ya on the dog-leg. I'm doin' a very custom set-up tho, so I'll be able to do even better 3-wheels with bags I'm hopin' to be able to lift the front too If I can't, at least I'll be able to pull a mad rear 3-wheel

Yep, AIM is indeed junk, I've helped a local do an AIM install and I lectured him throughout the whole install on how it was a waste of both time and money.

He didn't believe me until the rears kept leaking, and his front sat no lower than my car when it had Goldlines. Gave me a good laugh though.

eai also makes cylinders. the only good thing about cylinders imo is they can be rebuilt where as bags cant be

Well I got the air runner catalog and the price list. It covers 95-02 cavaliers. Price is around 4 grand. Dunno if thats steep of a price or not. I will take some pictures of the important crap outta the catalog and post them up later on today or tomorrow.

Re: Air runner

FOUR GRAND?!?!?! And 03+ is the same suspension, they just can't figure that out I guess, lol.

Re: Air runner

well if its the same type of suspension setup as the 02 and older then you should have no worries if u buy the 02 setup. it says the front is Bellows Strut pillow upper mount 255c 4DIAL damper and the rear is Sleeve Strut Heavy Duty upper mount 08L 4DIAL Damper. and its a direct bolt on installation. It doesnt say anything about weather its for a regular suspension or Z24 suspension (is there much of a difference to that). I forgot my camera.. so pictures will have to wait a day or so till i can get my camera.
Re: Air runner

Stock vs Z is same suspension. I think the Z just has sway bars. Sleeve rear tho?! Garbage, sadly - sleeve sucks. I highly doubt it's worth $4000, even with the damper on the rear.
