well i just picked up some used koni yellows and goldline springs, didnt really do my research up front now im wondering if i should have, i have a 2003 cavalier with the rksport type j kit all the way around, am i going to be sitting too low with these srpings, didnt really realize how much of a drop 1.75 inches is, then on top of that the sag that people talk about on the used goldlines.. just wondering what you guys think

Nah, you should be just fine. You may want to be a little careful when going over speed bumps, and in and out of driveways though. I wouldn't worry about breaking anything. And if anything, it wouldn't be too hard to swap out for a different set of spring later on down the road if you decide the drop is too much.

My goldlines never sagged. The drop should compliment your car nicely.

::::update::::

so i decided to indulge into an adventure i wasnt quite ready for yesterday.. i couldnt find any one to help me only one person offered their help and he wasnt around so i just went ahead and went at it on my own.. replacing struts and springs with only 2 hands is not easy lol. but i got it done im sore as hell from it and i busted the crap out of my hand but it happens.. car handles great but was bumpy as hell once i dropped down the firmness a little a bit it was perfectly fine.. love the new set up and like you guys said wasnt too far of a drop really my muffler scrapes on occasion and the side skirts have caught on a curb once but all in all not horrible.. thanks for all the suggestions and give me some feed back on the car if you want..

yeah i got burnt out on body work a few weeks ago after doing all this crap to it.. i know a lot of people dont like half assed cars like mine but you know its a work.. as soon as i get some more time off work i plan on finishing a few things up, such as the trunk needs some more work, the side moldings need to finish coming off. there are just litting things here and there until i can get it ready and into paint

you know, it might not look that bad if you just lowered the door molding to flow with the sideskirts, trim if needed to match up nice.

might be possible with the 03+ moldings

put the molding on the side of the sideskirt (on the door) and rim it! otherwise looks good.

Not a big fan of the fenders but if you like em, just get rid of the side molding and it's golden. Oh, and ditch the wheels. Drop looks just right, by the way.
