Ok so I got the Tokico D-Specs and the Tein S-Tecs and installed them but upon doing so I noticed that the nut was bottoming out on the strut shaft BEFORE it made contact with the mounts. What gives ? I thought these were direct bolt ins. Anyway for now I installed washers between the mount and the nut so I could get a proper torque reading when installing them. I have no issues or noises or anything other then a great riding car, I just wanted to know if I missed something or am I supposed to use a different mount or was the washer the right thing to use ? I'm just curious more then anything as i know its safe the way I have it but I'd still like to know whats up.

I know when I took off the old shocks there was a washer already there and I just reused it. I assumed it's supposed to be there. Makes me wonder if everything was seated properly now.
Well on mine the nut for the old strut had this big thick spacer piece made onto it but the new ones that came with the Tokico's didn't have that. :::shrug::: Oh well it works so it must be ok.
But thanks man.
