Gravana Coilover ?
Saturday, July 22, 2006 10:46 PM
Did a little research and read the Gravana was in R&D stage of a pillow block/camber plate for the ProGrips or whatever there called.

Well, its getting crunch time, and I need to make a finial desicion on my complete coil over kit. Tein SS or Gravana... The desiding factor is going to be the strut mount.

If I order the Gravana Complete Coil over kit, will I need to get new sturt mounts (being as mine are rattling and clunking around) or will I be getting the talked about pillow block/camber plate mount?

Im liking the Gravana Price, and the extra adjustable spring to keep the struts at movement instead of bottoming out, but then again, I have alot of faith with the Tein name.

Yea, the last time i talked to the folks at Gravana they said they were making their coilover with a pillowball mount and as far as know thats the only dfference...from the SS, i bought the gravana's and bought some 240sx Tein Pillowball mounts and all i had to do was drill 3 new holes and i was set....i have all my dampening on 0, it rides pretty good, stiff but yet, comfortable. I'd buy them again if i had too.

well I emailed them earlier, so hopefully i'll get a responce Tomorrow. The g/p is going on for 1200 shipped so i'd really like to get on that. I need new strut mounts regardless, so in 3 weeks, i have to make the finial desicion on sturts.

I really like the design and price of the Gravana ProGrip's so hopefully they do come with new mounts.

Camber really shouldn't be to much of a problem on the car's thou.

btw. whats the max drop on the Gravanas? Chances are im not gonna reach that drop, i'd like to be sitting about 1.75 to 2inch on the front and 2.25 to 2.5 inch on the back.
