Help... please.

Ok well, as you may know, I have air ride on my car.

Well, I'm having a few problems that I think are being caused by my air ride...

1.) When i'm riding pretty low and give the car gas to drive (duh..) the front end vibrates. It feels like it's vibrating from side to side.

2.) When I drive over a bump, or a dip in the road, I have a clunking like something is hitting my firewall. Also it clunks when i'm backing out of my driveway with my wheels turned.

and last but not least..

3.) I've drug my exhaust so much, it's "clunking" in the back too. It also clunks in the rear when I go over a bump or a dip in the road... is that suspension related? I've tightened all the bolts on my struts and still making the noise.

Thanks in advance... these problems make me want to not drive my car... So I think i'm just gonna take the bags off and sell them...

Sounds like a full set of strut mounts.

if you ride really low check out your cv joints. i know i blew one of them from riding too low. several people have gone through a few because of the height they ride at

Thats what I thought the vibration was... but the clunking is what's getting to me... I can deal with the vibration.

Driving at different ride heights constantly, will constantly make your cv shafts go bad. They get set into a groove when they stay at a certain height.. and constantly changing that will ruin your shafts alot quicker.

And, I would say your strut mounts are probably bad, couldn't hurt to start there.
