Yup.
She needs new front brake pads. The slotted/drilled rotors are fine, but my "high performance" softer ? pads are just about worn away. They did work well, but can't remember where i bought them from. Anyhow.. anybody have any info/names or links to where to find some nice front pads for jbodies. Whateever the compound to help stop better
Thanks!

Hawk Performance is a good brand.
I use Ti/22's w/ my CD/S rotors, so far no problems w/ excessive wear.
I love my EBC Yellowstuff pads.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

^^ Agreed. I like my Hawk ceramic brake pads. Check out their website.
either hawk or ebc ceramic would be the best choice.
SIG coming to an org near you!!!
Hawk carbon ferro pads, got mine from turbo tech racing, they are virtually dustless. they leave a lot less than most, and they work very well.
www.turbotechracing.com tell him i sent you.
I get my brakes from NOPI's store (they are actually the cheapest I've found).
I get the Axxis Ultimate pads -- used by many autocrossers and I've yet to make them fade. I pair those with the Brembo OEM rotors @ $26 a piece. Slotted rotors seemed only marginally better to me, but they chew through your pads much quicker. In all, my brake setup is like $115 shipped and is at least as good as any previously mentioned setup.
The only bad thing about them is the significant amount of dust, though you will usually find that on any racing pad.
I heard plenty of good things about the Hawk HPS pads, the HP+ aren’t available for the Cav. (I use these during the off-season as well as plenty of national level solo 2 guy’s use these)
Green Stuff is supposedly one of the best friction coefficients available for the car excluding dedicated race pads. (But the down side is the extra ware on the rotors, they ate up my friends Suby's rotors, so be warned if you go with those.)
The Axxis Ultimate pads i heard good things about but few people that i know use personally use them so i have no first hand info about.
Besides that, for any pad you decide on, figure out what you are using them for. Its nice to say you have a race pad or a hi performance pad but there are always trade offs. For example I use Ferodo DS2500 pads, which are a track pad during the autox season. The initial bite is amazing if there wormed up; when they are cold they are actually worse than my stockers. So when I go up to the line during autox I some times have to drive from the grid and drag my brakes so they are wormed for the run. Also they squeal like a pig when on the streets and people give me the worst looks (like wtf fix your brakes or something). Besides that the rule of thumb is the more performance you get the more dust, noise and ware on the rotors you get.
So the three up top are usually the best to go for with good road manors and performance and all around 50$ for the front. With my vote on the hawk pads. (SCCA rarely endorses anything and Hawk Pads are one of the rare products that they do endorse)
auto x kills brain cells!!!
so with pair of bendix from advance
i like my EBC greenstuff pads...and very low brake dust
mm... so hwak or ebc. Ive heard of ebc before and seen their adds in magazines. Would rather have the pad wear out then have to replace rotors tho.
any suggestions on where the best price is? The company websites?

The reds (IIRC) were full "race" pads and didn't as work well cold, which is not a good thing for daily street driving.
The Greenstuff pads worked very well at any temp when I had them, but they really munched my rotors (Granted, I was autox'ing once a month or more).
I'm currently running Powerslots with Hawk HPS per this combo (the hoses too
)
Gravana Powerslot/Hawk/Russel Hose combo
Very happy. I have completed most of a season of AutoX, and this setup seems like it will last a lot longer than the GreenStuff/EBC slotted rotor combo I was running before.

Sleeper style, they don't see it coming that way.
I love my HPS, no idea on brake dust, I usually try to wash my car once a week and it hasn't been an issue for me.

That is a hell of a deal, I think that's what I'm going with!

I have powerslot rotors, and Hawk brake pads. I love them, best brakes I've ever had.
I've used the green stuff brakes on my Stang before, they were great but they wore out really quickly.

I took his advice over a year ago, and have been very happy with the results. I was "warping" other rotors within 10,000 miles, now I have about 30,000 or so, on this setup and still going strong. The only downside is the dust, but if you wash your car on a regular basis it is no big deal.
The stainless steel braided brake lines are worth every penny if you guys need something to do with that extra $100 you saved on my setup
Also, flush your system with the valvoline synthetic brake fluid (its like $5 a quart). The valvoline will hold up almost as well as motul or ate super blue.
I'm having a hell of a time ordering from NOPI, their website won't process my order because I'm in Canada, and their phone system keeps looping me and I never get to speak with anyone (during business hours I might add). Very frusterating, I've sent an email requesting a call back, but this is FAR from convenient. Anyone else run into this?

Suspicions confirmed, NOPI doesn't sell to Canada. By the time parts get through thier Canadian distributor and into my hands, it will be nearly 2X the cost, and several weeks later, BAH.
