As he title staes i am gettin a odd very sparatic clunk commin out of my frint end..usually when i come to a hard stop or hard start i get a super loud clunk and thats it..no noise after everting feels tight..any ideas?? phil
I think your @!#$s busted.
why not put i on jackstands and start looking for somethign broken, or play in the suspension, or a broken motor mount
I layed under it...no movement on the wheel bearings, none on the tie rods, everything looks good....its a odd sound like abinding sound..maybe a cv joint going..but it drives fine still..i dunno..my car hates me i supose..phil
could be the strut bearing assemblies. could also be the front sway bar bushings

no sway bar..could be the strut mounts,,im going to change the whole setup next yr prolly anyways to tiens setup..so ill hold off on those..thanks guys..phil
Ya know....the biggest cause of noises in the front of the vehicle suspension in my experience has been the control arms....just check those out along with the sub-frame bolts for tightness....you might be surprised.
Just go over it all. I am gonna just go with by what your telling us either a bad ball joint or strut mount. when was the last time someone greased the joints under your car? might wanna do that as well.
