Members,
I have koni yellows with the prokit installed.. Now the rear konis won't adjust anymore and it seems like the whole shock turns with the adjusting knob. The front shocks seem fine but the right one looks to be leaking liquid from the adjusting tip. The konis and springs have been installed for about a year now and the car isn't driving the same lately. I feel like I'm not 100% in control of my car and I can't even keep my eyes off the road for like one second because of some suspension problem. The car on country roads drives bad. One mechanic said the front right shock needs replacement because it doesn't have enough fluid to even with the left one, and that one also won't adjust at times. Another mechanic said it might be the part that make the wheels turn. I had an alignment on the car about a month ago also. Would I have any problems with the sportlines?? I think the ride is way too stiff already... THANKS!!
The koni's should be under warranty. If you can live without your car for alittle bit, send them in for warranty, and have them replaced.
I think the spring rates on the sportlines is very similar to the spring rate on your pro-kit. If you are unhappy with the firmness of those springs, I wouldn't suggest going with the sportlines.
Instead, if you want springs with a lower spring rate, I'd look into the Tien springs. If I remember correctly, their spring rate is lower than eibach's rate.
What setting did you have your koni's on? Were you driving around with them on full firm, or soft?
Sportslines are more stiff than Pro-Kit. The ride is probably uncomfortable because the strut is blown.
koni should still honor the warrenty on the strut i mean the prokit isnt going to blow the struts. honestly i dont know how you blew the strut riding on the prokit. did you buy the struts used?
btw i think its pretty @!#$ty that your going to sell struts that you have a problem w/ to another org member and not even list the problems in the ad

I would ride in full stiff. What do you guys mean by spring rate? Will the bad shocks fix my handling problems? Is this how stiff you guys ride with the konis? I'm just thinking twice about the two inch.
