I am installing the addco rear swaybar on my 01 Z and I need to know if there is a specific ammount is should tighten the bolt on the lower part of the shock. Also any other little bits, i am starting right now. Will check back when its time to put that bolt on. Thanks.

lower shock bolt, i wanna 80-100ft-lbs but to be honest i cant find my service manual other wise i would check. Just tighten it down hard. as for the bolts on the actual addco setup, turn till tight then add 1/4 turn. The actual bushings and what not jsut make them snug, dont crush them.
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
For the lower shock to the trailing arm, it needs to be tightened to 52 ft lbs.
What size were your bolts? 18mm or 19mm socket needed?
I was trying to remove mine, but my 19mm socket is not tight, I'm thinking it make be 18mm.
Thanks, yea i read the warnings with the kit about over tightening the bushings and am going to go with their sugestion that you should be able to spin the tube in the middle after tightening.
I had to go get a 18mm socket, 19 was too big and 17 was too small so i used the noodle. But i think the new bolts that came with the kit are bigger. If i dont have a socket that fits the new ones i might just re-use the stock ones. Anything wrong with that?
Thanks, going out side to use my new socket.

can you two decide on the torque of the bolt? 52 is a lot different then 80-100 in my book.

go with 52
my 80-100 was a guess

Well i tighted everything up and drove it. Can't tell much but definately better. I guess if I over tightened it then i will be -replacing the strut bushings some time in the future. I really don't want to freeze my butt off again taking it all apart to change those two bolts. Hopefully full coilovers are comming soon so it won't matter.
Thanks for the help guys.
If tightening it to 70ft/lbs was a horrible mistake and i should really fix it now i will, just let me know.

70 should be fine. I got my number from the Koni build guide on here. I'm told it's also listed in the gm shop service manuals and hanyes manuals.
I also just bought the addco sway bars, and am hoping to install them soon.
I had my car up on jack stands last night, and realised that I was missing a 18mm socket.
Maybe I'll be able to install it tonight.
Did you get the front one aswell?
