I just got off the phone with Jim @ Easystreet and he told me that they are coming out with a new strut design around Feb 15th. He said the new design is gonna be even more performance oriented. I was gonna order new strut cartridges next week for my air ride but he advised me to wait and get the new one. So I would wait till around Feb 15th to order. Just thought I would share the news.

He said there would be virtually no price difference (maybe around +$10 per corner). Not sure on any more drop. He said "They will be performance oriented". Maybe more adjustments??? Not sure but I cant wait!!!!!

Which is all good, because I am about to spend a few hundred getting my valves, sending units, and digital controller. (damn air ride tech big red's. lol)

I mean, if I can get the basic strut bags for a little cheaper than I'll go with them until I can afford to upgrade. I have to piece my kit together instead of buying the EasyStreet kit. Although, so far, I am well under the Easy Street kit price, so I may be saving money on the deal.
So far I've gotten
400Viar Compressor and 5gallon tank for $75
Big Red Air Ride Tech. Manifold Valves and digital controller/sending units wiring for $400
pretty much all I need now is, line, fittings, check valves, and the bags them self.

Dont forget the pressure switch!!! And I think you can get the current bagstrut setup for around $1000 plus shipping. All in all you will be around Easystreet price after its said and done.

stenger - i was gonna try to go the way you were but once you come to the end you will notice that you could have bought a brand new easystreet kit. or a used one in the classifieds for less than what your gonna spend on peiceing it together.
other than Tim, there are no easy street kits in classifieds.
Plus this way, I get to use the valves that I want, and all that. So hopefully I'll be at the Easy Street price, but with a better kit.

i agree to disagree..... i dislike the ART digital ride controller!, as well as that compressor.... also make sure you wrap those bigred valves in like a heating blanket or similar if you plan on driving it in the winter!

We've been receiving notices for a few months now that prices would be going up shortly. Like I said though, I don't have a new price sheet yet, so I don't know what is/isn't affected.

Hell I bought my full kit used in the Classifieds for 800. And upgraded the parts i wanted and ended up spending 910 total for it after selling the extra parts i upgraded with new pieces! Cant beat that. Was piecing a kit together to save and didnt work. Only thing good about piecing together is that u can spend a little here and there and not have to drop 1800 in on pop!

If you are interested in selling just the compressors let me know!! Also i just bagged my 01 cavy bout a month ago, what do i have to do to get the front to lay down lower that it is! It's driving me crazy!
^^^ yup lets hear it cuz i should be starting my bag project in the next 2 months or so and plan to tub the rear but im looking for ideas for the front.
