hey guys im new to the site.. ne way, a buddy of mine heard the the grand am gt rear discs can be a direct swap to the cavi.. ne one heard of this? kinda want to give it a try but it sure would be a waist of time and $ if it doesnt work

Your friend is wrong.
You can do a full N-body IRS rear suspension swap, which would include the brakes.
Other ways of getting rear disc brakes are: a neon rear disc brake swap, Bear, and SSBC? IIRC
yea kinda figured that.. drums are fine for now!!
