So i decided to tackle the hell that is known as installing a front swaybar on a j-body. i didnt have one to begin with so i knew i was in for a lot. I had a lift which made it easier. One thing i was very surprised was this: EVERY post i read about the install said you HAD to support the subframe when you lowered it. I didnt and it was just fine. does it put strain on something that i dont know about?
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Support the subframe? I just took the back 4 bolts off, pulled down on the subframe and then crammed the bar up there. I certainly didn't damage anything.
