I just installed my agx's and prokit all around. Everything went smoothly for the most part. When I installed the right rear I had trouble getting the strut damper bolt to tighten. I would tighten it but at the same time the struts rod would spin and the bolt would go nowhere. I went ahead and finished the install and tightened the right rear as much as I could, I know for a fact that it is loose. Any suggestions on how to tighten it, I will probably take it off tommorow and try again.
I had the exact same problem, I took it to a shop and had them use air tools on those bolts.
how much did they charge?
were u trying to tighten it with the car lifted off that wheel? get it as tight as you can and set the car down slowly(lil at a time)
the more weight sitting on it will help hold it in place.
at least it worked for my old D-spec fronts when i didnt have air tools
if that dont work, grab some vice grips and try and hold the spline with that
thats why the top of the strut is notched, you need to wrenches, a small one on the strut (think its 10mm) and then the larger one on the nut. But air tools are a much faster option
