i need replies from poeple who have there cars lowered on factory struts!! i want to know what brand spings you are using. and befor i get 200 replies yes i know the best way to go is 600 bucks worth of tokico struts so dont bother telling me that.
im using dropzone on the vert, i think i had sprint on my old Z.... i think they were sprint...lol
I'm using Sportlines on my Cav and the ride sucks. I can tell you first hand, do it right the first time... but you already know that
i guess i left out a part...how crappy does it ride. i got arospeed springs and they suck monter balls.
its probably not the springs that suck its the blown struts lol
I purchased some used Sprint springs and used them with some aftermarket replacement struts (Monroe or Gabriel). I tolerated the ride for 3 or 4 days, That's it! Took them off. The front wasn't even that bad, it was the rears that sucked. Also, it only took 3 days for a rear shock to blow! Luckily that have a lifetime warranty and I got it replaced. So in my case, Sprint and stock struts = Stay away.

wow another cheap ass so expects quailty from garbage... nevr though I'd see that on a j-body site
just realized thr sprints were on my fisrt cavi maxspeed on the 2nd and then i switched them to the vert, and now i have a set of dropzone on the vert, the best ride i think had out of all of them was actually the maxspeed, still a little bouncy in the rear but all out the smoothest ride besides stock lol

The reason they blow so fast is because they where stock replacements. It was a waste of money to do that on anything other then stock springs.
IMO and what I have is the Eibach Sportlines and Koni Yellows... I love the setup, I think they are the best for lowering springs. If I did coil overs I would do ground control.

I didn't actually buy the replacement struts for use with the Sprints. I was using them with stock springs and found a great deal on the Sprints so I just tested them out. I went back to stock very quickly and sold the Sprints for a few bucks more than I paid.
this thread should be a sticky
