hmmm yea i was looking at the pic but i couldnt figure it out. they almost look like the easystreet back except the leader hose in the pic goes into the bag on angle. if they are aim then i would just toss them. aim is abosolutely horrible

the center nut just ties everything togther...and as far as swapping to use easy street bags..im gonna say no but thats only because i think aim uses a more commen bag like one you could just buy from any large retailer for trucks and universal applications...any one else have any info on this? cause im really not sure. but for 300 bucks you could just get a brand new set-up for the front from easystreet...with a warrenty

No an easy street bag will not work on this strut. it is an aim strut and you should use your best judgement on installing them. if you wish to get easy street struts GREAT! but hold out for a bit as we have a new and quieter version comming out soon. I have them on my cavalier and they are the quietest on the market. besides a bellow in the front will give you poor ride when compared to a sleeve, i know this because my car is a prototype vehicle and have had them both sleeves are the only way to go.

what do you mean sleeves?

Lupe - sleeve bags up on the front? should be interesting, do u have any pictures? how does it ride and handles? that should hop alot quicker just like the rears. Im curious about its slammed height, any changes?
thanks!

The height will be the same, when we reinstall the sleeves i will post photos, the ride is great and handling is a bit better do to the fact of higher psi as they are lower internal volume then bellows.

I understand the problem with fill/deflate time between front and rear, you can even it out by running 3/8 line to front and 1/4 to rear this trick should gets it about even.

interesting....i just hope they are very well built.....

they are deffinitly AIM strut bags. i have installed many sets and never had a problem with any of them even at 185 psi. although i would net install the set you pictured because that bag with the rub mark is sure to blow. and ye that center nut need to be tight. i do agree that the easystreet stuff is the way to go but not every one has 800 aprox per axle for bags.

easystreet is expensive but not 800 per axle

SD sells just the fronts for a little over $500 I believe, just sold mine.

I do have some low mileage rear Easystreet struts if anyone's interested PM me, brand new bare replacement also included. Sold the fronts a couple weeks ago.

They are AIM.

I have the same ones on my car now. I just bought Joe's Easystreet fronts to swap mine out.

1 of my bags "POPPED" last summer, still held @45psi. They were OLD and used when I got them, I painted them to look better.

They had been on SEVERAL rides before mine. I think if I had owend them since new that I would not have had to replace them.

I am actually thinking of REBUILDING them with New AIRSTROKE Firestone bags. They are equipped with them now. FIRESTONE bags are GREAT.

Despite what people are saying about AIM, these bags RODE VERY well and VERY smooth for me for 2 seasons. Again, I bought them USED. Not as bad as yours are, but they were used.

PROS, sit ALOT HIGHER than the Easystreet when aired up.

Yes some are looking to gow as low as they can. With my 19's @ 0psi I could still Roll and not rub, even turn.

Also the Easystreet sticks up through the Strut mount ALOT higher and will need to be modified to fit my Polished Strut Caps from MRZ.

I used Modified STOCK strut mount/bearing to install my AIM struts. It allowed for the clearence of the strut caps. I may do the same for my Easystreet fronts to sit as high or make spacers to fit between the strut mount and mounting plate of the Easystreet mount.

You can find replacement Bags for your struts. Find the part # on the bag so you can order it. Firestone Airstroke.

BTW, in my sig pic, the front is ALL the way down, I would have to air up the rear so it the back tires would clear, but even in the pic. MY TIRES DID NOT RUB.
