Now I know this has been brought up a couple times.... but is there really a big difference if you go the full way and mount the bar to the firewall (using the tab)... or is it minimal??
I would think it makes a difference, otherwise it wouldnt be an option. However, how much of a difference does it make on our cars? I imagine that the more you have done to the car, the more you would notice it either being, or not being attached.
I would unbolt mine from the firewall, but it is on a stock bolt thats on the firewall, so it wouldnt move much anyhow.
I would say to do it, unless you dont have a stud in that location, it might be a pain to do, and in the end not too too worth it.
hmm maybe a good project for a hot summer day haha thanks for the info!!
on coupes prob not any diff on a drop top then yes given the fact there is no roof to help body twist so that helps them.
