well today was the first day i got the car back on the road and i was driving back from work (5.3km's) and i heard this nosie it sounded like a BOV i was like wtf and it was coming from my left rear ... then it stop my psi didnt drop or anything, then i heard it again and all over a sudden it happen again and i lost all the air in that rear bag. soo i pulled over and took my rim off and im guess my tire rubbed into the bag. but i cant see how it could of becuz i got 225/40r18s on it .. i jacked up the other side and it was fine.... what could of made that happen? and would it be worth just buying new rears with everything or just replace the rear bag? btw i got the easy street kit with the digital controler
well, the digital would be the first cause i could think of. bunch of people have had issues with it.
did you rub a hole in the bag? how did you get it home?
i rub threw the tire. and then i got a tow truck to tow me home
that sucks, i got cyinders in the rear but the same thing happened to me on the front. Cost me $89 to replace just the bag, was much cheaper. But it's not easystreet so you might want to check the prices out.
Well... Im not surprised. I warned that guy who sold you the kit.. sorry that happened to you too! exactly like that did to me 3 years ago, I wished Chris Wink warned me either way......
Yes those are my old bag struts! Glad you are ok..
I got those both bags replaced by easystreet after blowing them up when my 19s rubbed them, never forget this very day on the way to RSM show when they blew on hwy 410 ramp.
So I ended up using a 3/8" ring spacers on the rear to avoid rubbing.. I still have them here, make me an offer! You can have them!
Or talk to me about buying my current 2nd gen bag struts.. I might be changing my rear set up. I gotta do things first before selling them. If you can wait... then great!

also FYI for you all guys. This is the 1st gen. bags struts. The newer designed 2nd gen. doesnt have this issue at all. So you all know!
When did they change the design exactly? Anyone know a manufacture date that they switched?
theres only been 2 different designs. i had one of the original easystreet kits and i never had a problem. the new ones came out i believe a year or so ago and recently they just started on the new mount design that i believe is out. i know there was talks of making a new design again by making the front struts a sleeve like the rear.
