when i turn the wheel either to the left to the right the front end make a medium pitched clunk like the spring is spinging if i turn the wheel all the way it makes a rather excisively loud clunk! i was reading stuff about strut mounts , but it doesnt sound like its coming from the strut mount it soulds like the spring , the mounts are the factory 03 mounts with 30000 miles on them , they set on a shelf for just shy of 2 years till i put them in , could i have put the spring on upside down i put the tapered end at the bottom... any help would be great!!! ...... i kinda wish i had my air ride again that was easy to figure out this is confusing....
Sway bar links, or strut mounts... MAYBE CV if you're really low to the ground, and caused a lot of excessive wear.... Those are what I mostly think of anyways, springs usually squeak... The spring may not be seated properly, which is also a possibility.
There will always be someone faster than you, but thousands slower and dumber than you.
I think you should check your powersteering rack. Your description sounds like it is binding. Check your fluid level, check if it is has air bubbles.
