check out teins website. edfc stands for electrion damping force controller which pretty much always you to adjust the damping of the struts without having to get out of the car. the edfc comes with a controller that you mount in the car and it comes with 4 stepper motors. you connect 1 stepper motor to each strut then plug it into the controller. then when you adjust the damping from the controller, it turns the stepper motor.

try talking to some of the vendors here, they will usually match any price, and are quick to respond about stuff like this.

I believe Jason at A plus performance sells the tiens. He can get you a straight answer on how to get the edfc, and how much.

its pretty much the sickest option we have for suspension adjustment.

And I should've been drown in the rivers I've found in token lost...

the edfc is around 300 bucks i believe for the full kit and that comes with the strut kit and everything for the edfc.

Most likely a strut mount. I would never recomend that many miles on a stock suspension....lol

I think your origional question has been answered. Sorry SS (Super Sucker) made an appearance

lol, yea, i know...well, i got the car at 133000 about a year ago, and i've been doing some repairs on it ever since...one more question for you guys...can i get the ss coilovers, and get the edfc later and have it put in? i don't have enough to get all of it and have it installed anytime soon, so, i was hoping to have the edfc done within a year-ish, and just have the ss's put in this summer. what do you guys think?(probably gonna say its dumb to pay labor twice, right?)...i really wish i had space and knowledge to do this myself...i hate not knowing stuff...but i only have my driveway, and in the winter, its all covered in snow, and after snow till june, all muddy...VERY MUDDY...oh well
Re: tien ss (edfc?)
Thursday, January 15, 2009 11:48 AM
yeah, you can do that, and there are several here that do.

Although, it would be nicer to do it all at once, but you would be paying the same labor, as the edfc wiring/stepper motor install would be a seperate thing anyways, i dont think they have to remove the struts to install.

Re: tien ss (edfc?)

that is def one of the best things i could have heard. awesome! ok, now just to get the ss's put in
Re: tien ss (edfc?)

yea you can put it in later. you wont have to pay anyone to install it either. the motors fit right on the top of the struts at the strut mount so all you have to do is run the wiring into the car and plug it into the controller. hardest part is going to be mounting the controller somewhere lol.
