So I installed my lowered suspension a few months back and one bolt on the rear left was giving me problems. So I disconnected the abs wire - heated the bolt with a torch and got it off.
Once I was all done the job I realized my ABS light was on a few days later. I had suspicion it was from this, and i had my friend scan it with a diagnostics tool. The code was:
"c1234: Left Rear Wheel speed sensor circuit opened or shorted."
I checked out the wires and they all look intact. Although I did noticed that it is substantially much harder (like required A LOT of force) to reconnect the wire compared to the other wheels. Where should I go from here? Any ideas?
Thanks
Oh ya! One more question. If I fix the problem does the ABS system realize that and turn the light off? or do I have to have it cleared?
If you heater the sensor and could have damaged the sensor.
Look at the inside of the connector, make sure that isnt damaged.
Do you have a multimeter

Ya I have a multimeter - what should I be checking.
How much does a sensor go for, and how complicated is it to change? My hanes doesn't say much except for its connected to the backing plate - do I have to take out the entire brake assembly from the front to get to it?
