Anyone on here have this set installed? I've done a search on here and only found stuff abouth Eibach and Addco. My suspension is starting to go and I'm looking into some upgrades. I was just wondering if this is worth the money or I should I just opt for the Addco or Eibach? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
ive heard good stuff about it and hardely any bad of it, but im going with the eibach kit when i do mine because i think its a good price for a brand new front, rear sway bar and hardware but thats just my opinion.
2010 Lonestar Bash 2nd place J-Body Street Class
I'll be ordering that in about 3 weeks. It is smaller than the others, but mounts directly to the trailing arm unlike the others.
Hmmm...this going to boil down to preference isn't it? What I was planning on doing for my car is replacing the struts and springs (probably should lower it, but I don't know yet), strut tower, prothane bushings for control arms and all that, and finish it off with an upgraded rear sway bar. If there is anything else I should consider, let me know. I'm up for any suggestions. By the way, that's a nice sig Tinkles...your car looks really clean and smooth.
If you are building the suspension, You should also look into Strut tower bars, Rear tie bar, Aluminum control arms, And maybe a K-brace.
There are a couple other options if you are going nuts with it. Like OEM's camber plates, I believe all the issues have been worked out with these, Phil Lindsay also just came out with some performance tie rod ends. All the way up to a IRS swap. Tons of little things you can do. But the price adds up quick. A setup consisting of almost everything available can put you over $2,000 pretty quick.
:edit: Now that I think about it, The price can even get over $3,000 pretty fast. Depending on what's used.

I'm not looking to get too crazy with it. I'm just tired of my car feeling like it's going to flip over when I take a turn at 10 miles an hr, lol. I've looked into the strut tower braces, a lot of them looked kinda cheap...but if they work I guess. I guess what I really want out of this thing is to make my DD a little more fun to drive. I'm looking for the best bang for my buck without getting to insane with the whole thing.

Rear sway bar = no more flipping feeling/grabbing onto the doors/getting slammed into the doors at 10mph.

Thanks, that's what a good camera and a person who knows how to use it can do.
Im going to be rebuilding my suspension in a month or so and my parts list is:
Tein SS's
Progress rear sway
Eibach front sway
Rear tie bar
Aluminum control arms with poly bushings

I do not have that feeling and I do not have a rear sway bar, or tie bar. Stock front sway bar, and lowered.

Start with shocks, namely the AGXs. Personally I would say the Achilles' heel on the 3rd gen J have been the shocks when you want to use it for performance. Now the stock shocks for comfort... they are perfect.
And a strut tower brace will not reduce sway at all. That piece is there to tie in your towers, reduce chassis bending and in the end make your suspension do all the dirty work, not your chassis.
