iv got my lowering springs already set in my mind but i also want new shocks...iv beens shopping around and i was wondering if monroe sensa-tracs are good for lowering and if they will hold up. i dont need or want performance shocks that cost 200 a piece but i would like something somewhat good for what im doing.

Monroes are a stock replacement.

You DO need "performance" shocks to handle any drop.

HP Blues are your best bet if you're just looking for something to handle the drop.

Bottom line is if you're looking to save yourself significant money, keep an eye on the classifieds, and get yourself a decent used set of performance struts. Put it this way: if you buy used struts designed for the application, you'll still get more miles out of them than new struts that aren't designed for it.
