1. On the GA aluminum arm, it looks like there might be a steel sleeve where the large bushing goes. Is this something that needs to be removed or is this just part of the control arm? Here's a picture of what I am talking about.
2. Does it matter what kind of lube I put on the bushings? I have access to some silicon valve sealant. Will this work or do I need something else? Here's a link to it.

You should use some grease that is water resistant, if it washes off after rain etc they start to squeek. I didnt catch your link the first time, my bad. When I got my poly bushings they came with grease, im assuming yours didnt? Not sure on the control arm, Iv got no experience with the GA arms

That sleeve needs to come out as far as I know. Ive heard that a hack saw helps.
I thought the bushings did come with a little pack of grease but it isn't in the box anymore, lol. I don't know what happened to it. This silicon is definitely water resistant though.
I thought that sleeve looked like it might have to come out. I didn't want to be wrong and dig into the control arms though. If I get a slow day at work, I can use whatever to get them out, but I think you're right, a hacksaw may just be the right tool for the job on this one.
