HELP!!!! SPRINGS???
Sunday, October 03, 2010 7:40 PM
My girl and i are wanting to lower our 4 door 04 cavalier. We currently put coilovers on it and the ride is horribe. We love how low it is but not the ride quality. So we are looking for the lowest drop spring with a stiffer ride. we want to autox next year. so let me know what you are running. Remember we love the low look but want a solid ride without bottoming out. If you could help it would be great. Thanks a bunch...

probably your best spring choice for low and a decent ride are Eibach Sportlines and either Tokico D-specs, Tokico hp or Koni yellow struts.

x2

Also what struts are you using?

Quality springs and quality struts that are made to handle the drop makes all the difference.

Get a set of Ground Control coil-overs and Koni struts or Tein Basics.

Take it from someone who had a factory spring break, do not cheap out on suspension. You will pay for it later.

They might be. I cant really say. Id just got with a quality setup like GCs and Koni Yellows. And my drop struts I meant ones designed for lowered applications like Konis, KYB AGXs, Tokico Dspec. But I think only Konis fit with the GCs

Go with either TEIN Basic or TEIN Super Street. Please let us know if we can help you with anything.
