As the title says Im in need of the #s for the bracketry, poly bushings and endlinks for the FE2 bar from the 03-05 Cavs. I searched back to 2006 and didnt find anything of use.
I picked up an Addco rear and I can get a 24mm front for $35 so Im going to go that route. The Sunfire has no stock bar so I need everything for the front install.
Thanks guys.
Edit: I really effed up the title

i believe the brackets should be the same size for any of the front bars... just the bushings would be different (different diameter hole for each size bar)
if you're going to be at the frame mounts, might as well just pick up a generic set of poly 24mm bushings. I ran energy bushings on my stock bar for a bit. they require a bit of massaging/trimming to work with the stock brackets but they will work.

I presume the bracketry can be had through GM but where would you suggest getting the bushings and end links?
i bought mine at A&A autoparts... any part store that carries energy suspension (or similar product) should be able to get you the bushings/endlinks
Advanced auto carries it all, but I just want to know how to go about the end links. Is it all one kit or do i need to buy the spacers and bushings?
it should come as a kit... bushings, spacers, nuts, and bolts. you may have to trim the spacers depending on what set you get.
Thanks guys. That helps a lot.

it came in a set for me. (a pair)
Where did you order yours from, I'm thinking summit?
I honestly can't remember where I originally got mine. It was either Jegs or Ebay. I just looked it up from
Summit and... good deal.
can someone let me know what size stock front bar i have? 03 cavalier ls. not lss, just ls.
i think it's a 24 mm but i'd like some reassurance before i just start buying bushings.
thanks!
What is your FE-
"#'? It is found on the build sheet paper in the headliner or under the spare tire cover. 2003-05 Cavs are either at 19mm for the FE1, or 24mm for the FE2. FE0 is ofcourse, no bar.

trunks gutted so no spare tire well cover. i just measured it and it was almost dead up 3/4" so i'm assuming it's the fe1 suspension which would be the 19mm correct? 24 mm is almost dead up a full inch.
Im going to guess 19mm since all of my searching has pretty much said that only LSSs had FE2.
25.4 mm is an inch since thats what my Addco is.
Not necessarily. The base cavs had the option of the "sport suspension" FE2 suspension complete with 16inch wheels and I think a spoiler was included too (don't quote me on that).

But blus car came with hubcaps.
werd, came with a spoiler, but it definately came with hubcaps as well. i'm not worried about it. i'm 99% positive after measuring it that it's a 19mm. there's almost a full 1/4" difference between the 19mm and 24mm bar. it'd be pretty bad if i couldn't tell the difference between the two since measuring is like 90% of my job lol.
just ordered the hardware for it last night. can't wait to get it installed
FE2 in the J consisted of:
-The thickest front stabilizer bar available and rear stabilizer bar
-16inch aluminum wheels
-H-rated Performance All-Season tires.
So if his car had wheel covers from the factory, then it does not have the FE2.

I've got an 03 LSS, so a 24mm bar right?
Would these be the right bushings to order for the sway?
