Hi all, I recently built a rear strut tower brace but have not been able to install it completely yet because the bolt that is fixed in the strut mound is not long enough for me to put a nut on the other side of the plate for the strut bar. I did some searching and couldn't find anyone that talked about removing this fixed bolt and putting a new longer one is so I wanted to ask to see if there is anyone who has done this in order to put a strut bar in the back. Any input in welcome.
Thanks
here is the bolt I am referring to,
listening...Same problem here ..
press/drill it out and install bolt of desired length.

Is it that easy? have you done it before with success?
bump, anybody else that can weigh in on this?
I've done it on front struts before, took a matter of minutes.

Im sure dorman offers a splined stud selection.
