Cruise and PCM relocation

Ahhh its more than likely been asked before but here it is!

Just picked up the GM strut bar from a junkyard vertible and I go out last night and the cruise and PCM are in the way! No problem just unbolt and move them somewhere! Well where in the hell did everyone move them?

I can go out and snap some pics of the engine bay and if people could circle places where they moved those two modules and brief instructions on how they did them it would be greatly appreciated!

P.S- My cruise is mounted on Pass. strut and my PCM is mounted on the firewall

thanx <br>

Some of them have a spot to mount the cruise, a bracket built on the strut bar itself. You didn't get that one obviously so good luck .

As for the PCM, but friend with his '03 put his on the driver's side strut tower, facing in the engine bay at a 45 degree angle. I don't know if yours is the same as his '03 Eco's though.

I'm not too sure what you actually did in that pic. Looks like its just sitting ontop of where it mounts. Did you end up just bending the bracket down and then the mounts for the bar kept the bracket arm in place??

Ye[[ers jsut push it down a little and move the crouse to the top of the mount and thats it. darkstars actually cmae up with it when I was helping him install his and i used it on mine also. Both of ours have been on for sometime now iwth no problems at all.

To install the bar then, can i just zap off those bolts and put it on, then but the nuts back on and tighten it up? Or is there something underneath thats going to pop off?

you can take out all the bolts on the top of the strut tower no problem... just make sure you torque them to NO MORE THAN 20 FT LBS. i've been reading of too many people snapping them off lately

ps, your sig is WAY too big dude. you should probably change it before you get a one day ban.
