do you have any technical specs on spring rates? Those look delish!
I wanna know about the performace!
Speed is relative. But the feeling is absolute.
sweet , finially some one that will post pics , and give idea how they like them
so you gonna put dampachi on your car ???
Gravana - $850 shipped ($890 list price)
TEIN lists all the technical data I could provide you with on their website. The Cavalier specs are
here.
I might stick
Dampa-Chi on the car somewhere, where exactly I'm not sure yet.
I just talked to Dan, the setup will be going on the car this afternoon. You can all expect a review later tonight. If you have any questions feel free to post them I'll do my best to answer them.
do these have adjustable dampers?

I'm definitely green with envy. A very hot setup you got there Scotty. Can't wait to get back to school so we can compare suspensions.

Yeah let me know how those are... I am leaning towards that setup... and look at all the pretty stickers I can stick all over my car *sarcasm*
well from our local site , they are on , and ride nicely according to the guy that helped put them on
hopefully scott will get on soon , and post more info
car sits alot better now
now its time for a ride along
lol
Very cool ! Now go sell those decals to the to the ricers and wannabes jk
Thats Him Officer The WICKED One.
ha! yea ebay them b**ches
Is that as low as they go?
I believe they go as low as 2.5"... and that I think would have the top of the tires just level or around level with the fender line. (slightly tucking)
My car had 3" of gap up front and 4" of gap out back with stock springs and tires.
Isaak, are you saying that dropping 2.5" would have me tucking?
Thats sounds kinda crazzy.
I am all that is man
The install was easy, it's a direct bolt in. No problems here.
The struts could go maybe an inch lower. Yes the tires would be very close to the fender line in the front.
hawwwwwwwwwwt!!!!!!
dang, i would like those.
I want to get a set of these for my car, but just some questions which may of been answered before..
I want to get new mounts, will I need to use a spring compressor when putting them on the coilover setup?
I'm gonna leave the mount on my old factory shocks and throw them up in a box somewhere so if i ever want to return it to stock i can just unbolt the others..
thanks
We didn't use a spring compressor to get the mounts on the struts. So, no you don't need them.
Well, when I had Apex springs on stock struts on my car... once settled, the tires were VERY close to level with the fenders, and the drop with Apex is 1.8" f & r and once settled they are a good 2". Just a reference I was using.

they were designed to use the 00-05 strut mounts
and most coil overs you do not need to compress the springs on
