gots a ?? iv had air ride for about 8 months now when i first got it i made shure that all leaks from fittings were sealed . they were . never went down over time. ok now i parked it for the winter and noticed that when i mess with it now the next day the back is all the way down i lift it up and a day later its down just the back now, . i noticed a small leak in one of the fittings ( next to the valve) i used soapy water and it was bubbling.. is that the probblem or is their somthing i need to chek??? and why all of a sudden is it doing it now it didnt do it during the summer????? helpp
well metal changes sizes due to temp (i doubt that would be the problem though) is there any teflon tape on the fittings? if not, you might wanna wrap all them in teflon tape to insure no leaks. the bubbles you seen coming from the fitting, is a leak. i would check all your fittings with soapy water. your fittings might not be the problem though. it could be a number of things. i would check all the fittings, check all the wiring and check the lines.
yes their is tef tape it is leaking smallll bubles.. all wires are hooked up right airline is good but goes down every mornig it was fine before.. now its leaking from fitttings so i was wondering if thats why the back is going down like that.. i tryed tighing them its a pain to do cuse eveyhting turns all at once is their anything else it could be besides a leak?? it taked about 8 hours to go down???? i say leak????
i have slow leaks in mine. it drops about 10-15 psi in the rear over night. it works out cuz i run my compressor everyday so i cycle new air into the tank almost daily. just tighten the fittings. i know its a pain in the ass but its what has to be done.
ya it doesnt take much of a leak for it to deflate, mine had a small leak, so i am replacing all my current fittings with compression fittings, later
pic coming soon
