Koni Sport Suspension Kit
Friday, April 15, 2005 10:16 PM
I've been a member for a couple of years this is my first post. I did a search on the kit but couldn't find anything on the Koni springs. I know the struts are held in high reguard but is anyone using the springs? Do they feel as good as the Pro-kits? Appreciate the help.
Jim
P.S. here's a link to the kit http://www.highrevmotorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=27_54_62&products_id=1126[/URL]

Okay, 2002 or older means any cavalier made in 2002 or the years BEFORE that.

Just finished my sport kit install on Saturday.

Even on full soft it makes an incredible difference.

It took me about 14 hours, but then again I was also installing a swaybar and poly control arm bushings, all by my lonesome.

Make sure you put 500 miles on those to break them in before you harden up the dampers.

hehe, I would post pics, but even as techy as I am, i'm too cheap to buy a digital camera :p (Takes money away from car mods)

I'll see if I can borrow one from work or something.

Hmmm... at that price I'd look into the Tein Coilovers for not much more.

Anybody have ground clearance issues with the 1.8 drop?

did anyone else have to grind the rear top spring seats to get the nut on the strut safely? without doing so i wouldnt have even had the threads showing through the top of the nuts. i know this is kind of vague, but if you had the same problem, you would know.
