Im not not sure whats up with my sunfire. I have a 2003 sunfire. Im use to the steering having some resistance. It lost this after the winter. Steering wheel was too easy to move. I had an alingment done a couple weeks ago, which seemed to put it back to stock feel. Just recently especially when its on a cold start, steering wheel seems to have a lot of play and is excessivly easy to move. I don't think its responsiveness is totally effected but mostly too easy to move. After I drive for a while and the car gets up to temperature it seems to feel a bit more normal, but not always.
I was just wondering why this is. Power steering fluid and tire preasure is all good. I don't like this loose feeling. And isn't the tires because had the loose feel with the snow tires and now have my stock tires back on.
I was wondering how everyone could tell me how their steering feels. I''ve had this car since new, it had this problem once before and an alignment fixed it for about a year. It only has 33 000km. I am just wondering why this is. Dealership says its normal, but I know how the car should handle and feel after driving it for 2 years and I don't think its normal.
Anyone want to comment on this?
if ya want instant answers ya need to go pay a mechanic, I would asking this over in the maintenance forum if I were you, more likely to get the answers your looking for.
