i found these puppies on ebay, and i wanted to know if anyone had them on their cars and what they thought of them. also, does anyone have the rates of other commonly used springs, to compare them?

thanks all

not sure on rates or anything like that, but my buddy had em on his 4 door with stock struts, and i personally liked em better than my goldlines on stock struts. but i have the D-specs now, so the ride is nice.

i was thinkin bout getting a set myself, cuz they are a bit lower than the goldlines

seems shady. stock style springs are usually a progressive rate, yet they list spring rates as solid one rate spring rates...

id do more research on em, especially from the company. for the price it sounds like someone could pass cut springs as lowering springs.

def stay away from megan coilovers though.

also as for rates.... most springs are progressive, which dont really have a true single rate, they usually have a range of rates, hence progressive.

thing is, these things are as nearly as stiff as most cheap ebay coilovers. and def close to the rates of ground control coilovers...

so stock struts, def not a smart choice to say the least. sure you can use em, but everyone by now should know stock struts or oem replacement struts arent made for coilover level spring rates, which these springs are.

on the good side, megan racing has finally discontinued cavalier/sunfire coilovers.

I wouldn't let those springs ride in my trunk.

save a little longer and get some quality springs ask around you will find people with what they like and what they can't wait to get rid of. remember this is something that you have to live with everyday. if you have to use paypal, go with Karo at Car customs, hes a good guy you can't go wrong there.

I have a mild drop on Eibach ProKit, the car rides smooth as stock, but performs so much better. eibach has a good reputation anyone will tell you that, I am considering the sportlines, but I want to see how this hurricane season is, last year was a dog, and I have to drive through flooded areas during that time. drainage in Florida is horrible, its all flat. those are some of the things hat motivated me for the ProKit.

i've already had goldlines on stock struts and pro-kits on AGX's. i am just looking for something new to try. thanks for the input. i'll probably end up going with AGX's and goldlines, warranty be damned
