has anyone used EBC Rotors? Are they any good, they say that they're 10" good or bad?

I've got EBC slotted/dimpled rotors on my car currently with EBC greenstuff pads.
Yes, they're the stock size.

The dimples are mainly cosmetic, they make them LOOK cross-drilled...otherwise not much special.

They stop really really well. Brake fade just doesn't exist.

Downside: The rotors are cracked beyond all hope of repair, and they've only been on for about 13 months. They're still in one piece, so at least they're not going to fall off on me (yet), but they've got surface cracks like crazy, and have a couple that go all the way through the rotor surface.

If it tells you anything, I originally bought those rotors/pads from The Tire Rack, and they don't carry that brand of rotor anymore (they still carry GreenStuff pads, but not for J's anymore )

Granted, I have autocrossed multiple times (like 6 or so) on this setup, and put like 34000 miles on the car since I put them on (yeah, i know, 30000+ mi in one year) but 90% of those miles were on interstates.

So my opinion: I would imagine that if i hadn't autoXed them, they might still be ok, but I will be trying the Powerslot Cryo-Treated rotors next time and see if they don't hold up to autocross duty better as well as being my daily driver.

And if the cryotreated ones don't last very long, then I'll probably be looking at the Wilwood setup (if i don't do that to begin with).

I used an off brand slotted rotor from Pat's GP for about 10 autocrosses and 25,000 miles. The rotors held up very well(i honestly beat the crap out of them on the streets too). That would lead me to believe that the EBC's are crap if squisher's had so many problems. I had some surface cracks but that was it. I'm going to try some brembo plain rotors this time from NOPI's store (cheapest I found).

I was using axxis ultimate pads (kevlar/ceramic)

Next time you buy brembos, order from nopi. Its $25 a rotor instead of $50.
