I guess I just don't quite understand yet on these...Can these like be adjusted to ride high for the winter and really low for the summer or am I totally off here? tell me what I can do with these.
Here is the website you can look at them and the description.
Arospeed
Does not play well with others...It seems others have a problem with losing.
If you look at the very bottom you will see a ring that sits at the bottom of the spring. That will loosen up and can be moved up or down and that will either compress or elongate the spring to give you your different ride heights. If you wanted you could raise them up in the winter and lower them back down in the summer. You dont want to go too low though or else you can notice faster wear on bushings, etc. Not to mention the ride will be a lot rougher. Somebody like event or weasel knows much more about this, but thats the general overview.
pretty much...thats all there is to it, however i would stay away from arospeed and get something made for the car...
the picture shown is for a civic or integra. (dual bolt upper mount)
yea arospeed isnt that great. when you do it, just make sure you clean the sleeve before you raise or lower it. i had crap get all stuck to the sleeve and was a pita to move.
What is a good brand to get that is not too expensive then. I do want good quality, but I need a good price too. I still have a few other things that I want to do, and I don't want to deplete all of my money on these.

if you have ANY INTENTIONS of going with coilovers you WILL NEED different struts!
so don't think you're gonna put coilovers on your stock struts! BAD IDEA!

read the post at the top of the forum, covers all of the questions you are asking.
Yeah, I would strongly not recommend ANY cheap coilovers...even with replacing your struts. They cause too much damage to your suspension components in the long term. I rode with Koni Reds and HP coilovers for almost 2 years and they were horrible. I was lucky enough not to do any harm to my car though.
I would recomend going with Sportline or Goldline springs. I switched to Goldlines and my car is just as low as it was with the coilovers, but it rides a billion times better. Also with springs, you don't necessarily have to upgrade your struts (it will be bouncy, but not nearly as rouch as coilovers), but it is recommended eventually for the most comfortable ride.
That's just my first hand opinion, but it is your car
