I know this question may be annoying to some of you, but I just really need to know. I want to drop my '02 Sunfire using coilovers. I just need to know exactly what I need to buy and want I need to do to it. I was thinking of the RK sport coilovers. With these, they just slip over the stock struts, right? So, to do this mod, is that the only thing I need to buy is the coilover kit from RK sport or is there something else that I need to buy for installation?
I've read the forum.. I just can't figure out what I need.
lol
rule # 1.stock struts ARE NOT MADE FOR LOWERING, coil-overs or otherwise.
now read that FAQ, its full of all kinds of good info
just take your time and read it. its easy to tell when some hasnt read it. coils you will definitly need new struts. you will need konis
rksport coilovers are complete coilovers, not "sleeves" so the strut is built right in....
they'll basically bolt right up alot easiar than the konis would

rksport coilovers DO NOT come with struts...
the rksport prostreet coilovers DO...
theres a difference chief
nope you need struts, the on the RKSport coil overs, but the Pro-Street Coil-Overs are set up all the way. heres a
link
this kit does have the advantage of being assembled, Gravana has a similar set up that I have heard good things about. I don't know if either set has adjustable struts or not.
gravanas are adjustble height and suspension travel...
also the strut is adjustable.
the gravana is a more adjustable setup all around, although the price is low in my view, you def get more than you pay for.
the pro streets are the older version of the B+G coilovers
the gravana ones are, or are VERY similar to the new line of B+G coilovers as bg has updated their entire line.
