i hope you have Koni yellows along with those sportlines.. cause the stock ones are not made for lowering and they will blow and give you a crappy ride. and then you wil end up spending more money to get your car fixed. do it right the first time and get koni yellows or reds if you haven't already

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!

konis arent really needed for springs. atleast i dont feel they are. if you go w/ coils then its a definite, but for springs you can probably use the ky agx's ( i guess thats what their called, i dunno i never had springs just coils and konis)

Bagged for the Pro-Kit I agree with you, However he got the Sport-Line springs. AGX set up is only good down to 1.5 inches. so they may last for awhile and they might blow in a week. as for the cost there are several people in the classified selling yellows or reds right now at good prices. some with springs some without. if you get a set with the springs sell the springs and recoup some of your money.

AGX- no drop to 1.5 good choice will last along time, definitely a step up from stock, adjustable while on the car

Koni Reds- almost any drop, definitely good with Sport-Line, Drop-Zone springs, good coil-overs. adjustable, but have to be removed from the car which isn't a big deal for most folks. out of production but you can still get them new as of this writing, and there are people selling them at good prices for whatever reason.

Koni Yellows- all that the Reds do, Plus they can be adjusted while on the car.

for me being able to adjust the way the car rides in a flash is plus. the install isn't that hard, I had never changed a strut before doing it myself. sure it took me longer because I had never done it before, BUT I learned something in the process.

whatever you decide on good luck, and don't be afraid to ask for help

they are out of production, but some companies still have them in stock. I think Karo has one set left, plus you can pick them up in the classifieds here on J-body, thats where I got my Yellows. they were new, the guy had decided to go with air bags.

You can usually rent the spring compressor from autozone or some other parts store. Oh an pick up a chiltons manual if you dont have one already they can be very helpful. As far strut choice I opted for tokico d-specs they go on just like stock struts unlike the koni's where you have to use part of the stock fronts in conjunction with the koni, and you can adjust the dampers on the tokico's while they are on the car unlike the koni's.

umm mine are fully adjustable while on the car, you can go from smooth to bobble head in a jiffy.

Cinny - 1
MoNkeE - 0

lol so is it the reds then that arent adjustable when on the car?

reds you have to take off, yellows stay on it's a wonderful thing, all the adjusters are on the top of the struts. the back is a little tricky the first couple of times but you get used to it quick.

the knob comes of and I put mine in my center console.
