I HATE DRUM BRAKES

Has anyone out there had major problems with their drums warping? Ive replaced mine 3 times in the last year and still they continue to warp. My rotors are sorta warped too. I dont know if this is a master cylinder problem or the people that have worked on my car in the past dont know what they are doing? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I dont ever remembering having a drums warping issue ever.

Besides this should be in maintance or the brakes forum

Are you slamming on your brakes alot, Or doing burn out with the Ebrake?

That would do it.

I've never had a problem on a J-Body. But the N-Body is notorious for warping drums over time. I have a GAM, and my GF has a Malibu. Both have slightly warped drums. You'll get a slight pulsing in the car during braking. But everything works otherwise.

If it's a strong pulse, or if you can feel it in the steering wheel it maybe more serious than slightly warped drums.

Your problems sound like something beside the drums. Maybe another part in the brakes. Maybe something totally different.

you just spray some brake cleaner in there, and that should do it?

Warped it three times? Damn... definitely NOT normal. I've had three J's.. never changed the drum brakes EVER.

Wow, with all that money you should just change over to disk brakes.
