what Type of Battery Should I use For Air.

I was wondering what type of battery I should use as my second one for my air setup. I had a yellow top and it didnt last too long. Any help is appreciated

Solo Hi Flow Cat/ 3in dual exhaust

im usin' a regular pep boys battery. ac delco and it works fine.

I have an ac delco and i have to take it to get charhre all of the time.

try a better alternator that might be you problem thats what it sounds like to me

well i have an 180 amp alternator so i am not sure what is wrong. It could be because i play with it so much that it cant keep up.

sounds like your having more problems than your telling us.lol. i just used one yellow top on 2 compressors. and had no alt upgrade or anything.worked fine for me.good luck

If been running two viair 450s on a yellow top with no trouble.

im running a 500watt amp and plan on getting Air next week.... is it manditory that I get a second battery or will I be fine just running off my one yellow top??

you dont need a second battery at all. a yellow top will be fine. they are alot better than regular batteries. i just replaced my one battery after 2 years of having air and i think the low battery charge fired my wiring to my pressure switch. good thing i had to fix something cuz that wire was burnt up for some reason

Is it a good idea to lay down some Sound Deadener in the trunk for the tank, compressor ect???

w/ my back seat up and my radio on, i cant even hear the compressor kick on

okay cool, so i shouldnt even worry about my tank or compressor vibrating from the music or even just the compressor running?

your not going to feel any vibration. if anything youd hear a very low humming noise
