got a new credit card, want a rear sway bar to finish up my suspension setup, on gravanas site i can get rk for 151 for addco for 159, is either one better than the other or do they both for the most part do the same thing?
it depends what size each bar is , and what it is your after
personally i like the bigger 1" rear bar , but some people are happy with the 3/4" rear bar
yeah they do the same thing, but different size bars have different effects...
its like if someone hit you with a tree branch, it would hurt alot less than if someone hit you with a tree TRUNK...
with sway bars its not about whats better, as alot of people just add a sway bar just to add another mod to their list.
swaybars are for fine tuning suspension handling.

muffins what would i do without you? honestly. lol
does the install involve any drilling at all or is it bolt on? Im thinking of going with Addco.
The Addco 1" requiredto drill a couple holes.
No biggie really.
I installed mine one hot summer after noon, no jacks, crappy drill bits, and while laying on pointy rocks in my gfs driveway.
But it was easy enough.
But general idea is if you don't have a front sway bar already, go with the 22mm.
But if you're riding on FE2 or higher suspension you can go for the 25.4mm bar.

2 3/8 holes and das it mang!
teamforwardmotion.com for directions though
I thought the new addco's bolt to the lower strut mount now?
they may, but they would have had to shorten the bar... the last install i did in 05 it was a newly shipped bar, but same as mine... had to drill.
wow im just way too lazy for that lol. i shall take that money and go to rsm for some goodies
Aw man, no more RK rear sway?
Booo.
So I guess the only other option for 22mm is the Eibach set, ot get lucky and find the part number for Addco's 22mm version.

i got a progress 22mm bar and it looks good, you need to remover the lower stut bolts when you bolt it up. you will need spring compressors too to be able to line it up and put it in.
Remeber there are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
The addco looks sexy powdercoated black with prothane bushings.
When I picked it up I had a funny conversation with the guy.
guy: That isnt going on that Cavalier is it?
me: Yes it is.
guy in Chong voice: That a pretty heavy bar man.
me: It for the rear end.
guy: Ooooh

NO its an Addco rear swaybar I had it powdercoated black and ordered some prothane bushings for it.
I also discovered today that I will probably need somone to help hold the bar up to put it on.
Doh!
