ok, i've had a set of exel 17" wheels for almost a year now. i never got any hub centric rings with the rims. my question is, will any hub centric rings for a cavalier fit any rims? or do i need to get them from the wheel manufacturer? i keep getting a vibration at higher speeds (55+ mph) and i think that is the problem. any help would be appreciated.
Could be the problem but since they only cost like $5.00 for a set its not an expensive fix
or even if it doesn't you didn't blow alot of cash.
Good luck

call discount tire direct, or go to their website and call em.... (add a dot com to the name)
the hub size if 57.1mm
the outside diameter will depend on wheel manufacturer... but you might have to call the manufacturer and find the size or simply take a few minutes online and google it.
in addition to vibrations as a problem.... also you tend to put more stress on your lug studs makin in more likely to shear all of em off....
and i dont say that to scare, you, but i;ve already had to drive across the state of PA to bring someone 5 studs on a sunday afternoon....
Oh that would blow! I hope you didn't tear up your car to bad. Er A I mean your
"friend" that is.

not sure but call DTD and see if they have your wheel on record... they usually have a list.
When I got mine I called Discount Tire direct, typically you can tell them the brand of rim, and your car and they'll get you the right stuff.
Aftermarket rims are made with a larger center to allow for multiple applications
Cars like the J-body are designed to place the weight of the car on the hub, not the studs. So the ring takes up the extra space between your aftermarket rim and the hub so your not putting the weight of the car on the studs. They also help in making sure the rim is centered properly.

they dont have the size, they told me to go to a rim shop and have it measured
