i just have a quick question. what year and engine models are there fitment issues with? my question is regarding the vibrant strut bar for the front. part number is 1875. is there fitment isues with a 2001 cav z24 2.4l? or is it just with other years or other engines? thx.
its not so much what engine you have but what is already connected to your strut tower, if theres nothing that would get in the way of the bar then you have not problem but if there is you have to move things around to get the bar to fit.
then again that could have to do w/ the engine, sorry i was no help
Only the 2.2 EcoTec engines have a computer in the way. All years have this problem to my knowledge. What year did they start using the Eco, 2000 through 2005?
The other 2.2 and 2.3/2.4 Quad engines don't have any problems. Their computers are completely under the dash.
95-05 the strut towers are the same exact distance apart. If there's issues w one year it will affect all models and years.
the 02-05 eco , and the 02 2.2 ohv have the computer and cruise on the passenger strut tower , and the strut bar interfears with the computer in some cases
