Hey guy's.
I am trying to install a rear Eibach Roll bar and I am having some issue's removing the Lover strut Bolt. Any Tip's or sugestion's in how i would go about this. Also, Would anybody have any images of how the front mount is installed. The instruction's Eibach supplied me have no Images. Just a bank box where the images should be.

Make sure you have both sides of the rear end jacked up and firmly on jackstands... otherwise the rear axle twists and is hard to get the bolts in and out of.. you might have to jack up the axle itself a bit to relieve the weight on the strut to get those bolts out.
Mind you... I don't recall having to take the struts out to install the rear sway bar.... but if you feel you need to....
Front, you have to drop the whole subframe. Or at least lower it enough to slide the factory bar out, and the new bar in. Get an alignment afterwards
^^^john, if i'm not mistaken, the Eibach kit comes with an L bracket that has to be bolted to the torsion bar using the bolt hole for the bottom strut bolt. I had to do the same thing with my RK bar. LilGigs, if thats the case, then you will have to use a jack to lift the body of the car to take the load off of the strut in order to remove and re-install that bolt, which is what I had to do.
Ok, that makes sense then
I knew there was something I wasn't fully understanding there. The old Addco and Hellwig bars didn't need that. Addco you drilled a new hole, Hellwig had funky J-clamps.
Ahhh yes I did all of that, maybe I am just a weakling?
I don't know man though, i almost broke my damn rachet trying to get it out, still no luck so I am going to give it a shot tomorrow. Do you have any pictures of the sway bar instal?
Try using a breaker bar ratchets don't have as much leverage.
Try the side that is not welded
