OK guys and gals.
I have decided to go back to air. Only because my cavy will no longer be a daily driver.
Now I dont want to go back like I had it.
THinking of removing trunk floor and doing some crazzy stuff.
Any ideas anyone had and was scared to try?

removing the trunk floor.. why?
you mean for trunk setups or actual bag setups? im kinda confused
you can cut out the spare tire well and just weld in some flat gage aluminum in there. my cav is coming off the road this winter and im redoing mine also but i havent decided on how i wanna do it.
Whatever you do. Plan, Research, Plan, Test, Plan, Ask Questions, and Plan some more. Then to it.
Cut out everything, Find a dead axle from a car hauler of something. Make a 4 link and bag it like you would the back half of a truck. Thats just an idea, I have others if your interested.
You can still make some cool stuff using the stock swing arm rear.

Just do what I did for my rear set up
I think Jim is the only one who may have an idea on what I want to do.
ANd it will include two 2B7 dual half inch ports Air lift bags.
The stock swing arm will stay and will add some cantilever this and some cantilever that.

gonna build somethin like that red and yellow cav you posted pictures of arent ya? that car was total tits man, cant wait to see the new setup.
J~
I just test fit my new 2b7s. They will actualy fit in the location that my old 2b6s fit into. So that will get me rolling quicker and I can still try and start working on some sort of cantilever back setup.
I would love something like this. But I dont have a tubing bender. And I dont know if I have the pasiance.
I could do something like this
Any of those would be coming up threw the floor.
But I also have some ideas for some levered stuff that would tuck underneath a flat floor.

OH and this is the new bag I'll be using.
Air lift 2B7 dual 1/2" port
Its the one on the left. It looks shorter but it actualy gets more lift and takes double the PSI than the old ones I had. Rated for 300PSI but they have been hopped with WAY more than that.
THe bag on the right is the replacement bag for the one that blew on the car back in July. Thank you JIM BIGFORD It will go on the car in the old location I guess. I would like to run the big ones but I guess I should keep them off to use wile figuring out a new setup for the rear.
CHeck out the ports
