I am going to buy a Prothane Total Kit 5-Piece Bushing Set from Gravana Tuning and I was wondering if this is something i should have a local shop install? I have only put on the basic bolt ons but that is because that is all i have done so far. I am willing to learn how to do more, i am just wondering if this is something i should try. The kit comes with: Front Control Arm Bushing Kit, Front Transmission Mount Bushing Kit, Rear Transmission Mount Bushing Kit, Upper Motor Mount Bushing Kit and Lower Motor Mount Bushing Kit. Also about how much should i expect to pay for a shop to do this? Thanks.

You can do it yourself, but if you don't have the right tools, like an arbor press or vise for the ca bushings, you'd better have someone do it for you. The motor mounts aren't that bad. Just use a jack to hold the engine in place while you change them. Not sure about the tranny mounts, cuz I have an auto.

IMHO, The only poly bushings worth installing ar those for the lower control arms....
i have both motor mounts and the control arm bushings, not rattleing here. but, i will say that the car does feel a lot more responisve. one of the best mods for the money!

tranny mounts are just a little more difficult than motor mounts, mostly because they're hard to reach.
I pulled my battery and air box, with that out I could reach my hand and get a ratchet on the upper tranny mount bolts. I think that's how I got to them...it's been a while
It's not too bad though once you locate the mounts it's pretty self-explanatory what you need to do to take them off. I think you can get pretty good help from the Hanes manual and the instructions that come with the poly.
You'll get the most difference out of the motor mounts though. I couldn't tell much difference with the tranny mounts in.

Does it reduce the rattle if i replace the entire suspension? I am planning to do this as soon as i get the money. Or does it just vary from car to car? Which is what i gather. Thanks for the info.

The upper engine mount is easy, it's an insert. The lower engine mount is a full replacement. You do not need to support the engine for either of these, unless you undo the wrong bolts. Don't undo the wrong bolts
The transmission mounts are more difficult. You do need to support the engine/trans when you do this. Do them one at a time so less support is necessary. Just put a floor jack under the oil pan, with a big piece of wood to distribute the weight. Don't jack up the whole car under the oil pan, just support the weight. If the car starts going up, you may crack the oil pan. This is bad. Don't crack the oil pan
Control arms are a bitch to do. Major pain in the ass. You have to take apart most of the front suspension. If this sounds intimidating, you're best to take this to a shop. Might be a good idea to upgrade the front sway bar at the same time as you have to remove most of the same stuff. Get an alignment afterwards.
