I was washing the car today and i noticed the front bumper was i dunno. Im talking about the 96-99 Z24 front bumper. When i pushed it upwards from the bottom, the bumper moved up a little like almost and inch. and then went back down when i let go.
Can u guys do this to your front bumper? It looks fine and perfect, but this has me worried. Ive had body done to the front bumper like 2 months ago.
What do you guys think?

Well I dont know a lot about autobody I'm not going to make it sound like I do. Anyways it would seem this would be normal, because the front bumper sometime in a cars life hits a parking stop, or taps bumpers with another car or hits something lighty. Would seem that it moves so that during light taps the bumper just moves to.

my 01 cavalier didnt do that.it sounds like somethings broken or missing you should probubly take a look at it before youre bumper falls off.
It is fine. It will not fall off LOL. If you are really worried about it just pop your hood make sure you have clips on the bumper and the reinforcement. Look in the fender wells and make sure you have the screws in the bumper. Just check to make sure that the thing is still on. The bumper moves a little. It is not metal, it's plastic.

well thats not really normal..some movment is but not that much...just check around and see if any fastners are missing (clips or screws)

I dont think its normal, i dunno. I'll check tor fasteners and screws under the hood. Where do I look, under the hood where? Im sure it wont fall off but it doesnt feel normal. Its the only car in the family, i love that car like its my own. It was be disaster if it fell off on the highway, even tho it shouldnt since its highway driven everyday and no probelms
