how fast would a turbochargedd 00-02 cavi i think it is be? (5spd)
i think someone said @ 8psi if not a lil bit more also has a muffler

Suncavi was running like 17 psi and had 300 whp and he was running 11's on a stock bottom end eco

Hmm.. Well judging from the year it's either....
a 2.4 LD9 or a 2.2 Ecotec or possibly a 2200
if it's a 2.4 or an Eco with 8 psi and it's safe to say he has a decent charger sized for his engine and a decent tune... he's gonna be doing you quite a bit of hurt.
the 2200? I'm not sure of.

Elaborate here. if he's turbocharged... and hitting 8psi... on a stock exhaust system? See a problem here?

i dunno man... i know a kid whos got an 89 5.0 GT and hes runnin 12.8's in the 1/4 mile(his first run on a track EVER) on a real lumpy cam, headers, full exhaust with H pipe, a cold air intake, i wanna say stage 3 clutch and a short shifter (at least i think thats it... i know hes got no performance internals but i really think thats it)... those 5.0's arent as easy to keep with as many may expect... but yea, at that level, the cavalier would give you a good run. and state for the record if your gonna be on a track, because if not, i can almost garauntee the thread will get locked.

i would say more about the car but i don't know nething esle about it then what i have told you.
but yes i do understand what ur saying with stock exhaust and a turbo doesn't make any sense because it would only hurt performance. but i will try and talk to him tomorrow and ask him exactly whats done to it and then get back with everyone.

I had a 95 Mustang GT and my best ET was 15.2. If you have a stock stang he will spank you.
well i don't like mustangs and i loved spanking them when i had my trans am but a GT only doing 15.2? was their something wrong or is just the track conditions...
It was a bone stock automatic GT. There was also another 96 GT with the 4.6 bone stock running 15.4. Both of these were consistant times all day.
i would think they would be faster then that but if i talk to much about mine i'll get the thread locked sooo i'll blame it on the weather
ok i found out its actually an 03 cavi with the ecotec in it and and bone stock ecept for the turbo running 8psi.
and my car isn't stock click on the link for mods but i should be at 280-300 to the wheels on motor and the the gas

nice car according to power to weight ratio with that turbo and from what i have read about other turboed cav's I'm still N/A. it looks to be a pretty good race. like your friends fox body stang...could never grow with the new body ones and i'm to much of a gm fan
