went out to my car earlyier today to check out the rev limiter, the damn thing almost pegged outif i didnt stop it, it went into the red just a hair off of 7k, did they not put them in a oo 2.2 sunfire?
They did, but you seem to be palying with a sensor. I had the same issue for a few days, it seemed to fix itself.
yeah but what would be the point in playing with a sensor or pushing it that far period even just to see what would happen, i mean if your going to go that far why not just go all the way and blow your engine while your at it.

To answer the o/p's question, yes there is a rev limiter on the 2.2's. Should hit at 6250-ish RPM
