i need a new windshield, so far i cant fina anyone that will do it for less than 300, bucks. Is that a resonable price? seems a tiny bit steep to me

Talk to your insurance company, a lot of policies have a replacement service that doesn't fall under your deductible.

i would try that, but it was broken when i bought it and the insurance place knows that too.

i got mine for 175 installed from a buddy of mine at safelite did a fantastic job

Depends where your at, Your probably lookin at 180-200 installed here in ohio. If you know someone that works for a glass company he may have one with a small stone chip that you can get from him cheap. They save them around here and resell them for a couple of extra bucks on the side.

You could have some one chuck a brick at it when your not around, then turn it in. They may not be able to replace half of the glass that got hit by the brick but might give you half the cost of the new one.
