Hi there,
I've got a 03 Cavi and the odometer quit working a few days ago after i had the black bezel out to fix a broken A/C vent. I didn't touch the cluster, just the dash surround portion. Any pointers on what to start looking at?

It's a common problem... any work in the dash area usually knocks out the filament on the bulb behind the odometer. Replacing the radio is the usual culprit.

The usual fix is to smack the top of the dash above the cluster with an open hand.... nice hard smack. Usually fixes it on the first try. Crude, but it's cheaper than replacing the cluster - as the bulb is soldered to the board, and it's not serviceable.

Well what i took off is about the same as replacing the radio, i'd bet that's it. :o( I'll try the "smack" method, see what happens. My odometer is the digital type, so there must be some kind of cold solder joint or something there.
