cv axle.

when i did my 3100 swap i used the 4t60e tranny and cv axles, the pass side cv axle seems to be too short and pulls out, the passenger side cv axle for the 2.2 that was in it is just a little bit longer.. about 1/2 to 3/4 in. will this cv axle work with the tranny? i know it works with the car because it was in there with the 2.2.

compare them side by side, and count the splines, look at the overall length. if the spline count is correct, and the length looks like what you need, then try it. worst case scenario: you lose 2 hours.

I was already hoping somebody knew because I already got rid of the 2.2 axles.

an update. I used the driver side 2.2 3 speed axle and the pass side with my 3100 and 4t60e. i had to change one of the ends, but it is about 3/4 in longer than the stock 3100 axle and now doesn't pull it self out of the cup when i turn and press the gas at the same time.
